Editorial Policy

We want every reader to be able to trust what they read here. These are the rules we follow.

Sources

Health and fitness claims are based on guidance from U.S. public health agencies (CDC, HHS, NIH and the National Institute on Aging, MedlinePlus), professional bodies such as the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association, nonprofit health organizations, and peer-reviewed research. Each article lists its sources at the end.

Accuracy and updates

Articles show the date they were last updated. We revisit guides when official guidance changes. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will review it promptly.

Safety

Each exercise includes a safety tip and easier option. We avoid recommending movements that carry high risk for common conditions in older adults, and we tell readers when to see a doctor.

Independence

We do not accept payment for coverage. If we ever add affiliate links or sponsorships, they will be clearly labeled.

Use of AI tools

We may use software tools to help research and draft content. Every article is fact-checked against the listed sources before publication.
